This is an extrememly rare 1935 Ford Tudor National Cash Register (NCR) Conversion with an original build date of July 16, 1935. Very few of these were built and this is believed to be one of only two remaining and the only one of its kind fully restored to its original condition. Even more impressive is the restoration included its original 21 stud aluminum head V8 engine, transmission and has only 27 miles of travel since being fully restored. The fit and finish of this car is absolutely unbelievable!
The history of the Ford Tudor National Cash Register Conversion is well documented in advertising materials, copied and originals, dating back to 1935. Back then, Ford Motor Company claimed their vehicle could go from “Commercial Car to Passenger Car in 45 Seconds” while stating this would be “A Commerical Car When You Need It…A Passenger Car When You Want It.” The rear platform removes in two separate sections, allowing the placement of a back seat. Please note, the back seat frame is included in the sale however, it was not restored.
This beautiful automobile has been featured in Early Ford V8 Times and shown at two Western National Meets of the Early Ford V8 Club and has earned a Dearborn Award each showing. Included in the sale will be the various ribbons and awards from numerous events.
