1934 Ford Roadster - $75,000

Gorgeous automobile! That’s what everyone says when they walk up to this all Henry Ford, All Steel Real ’34 Roadster! This car was restored to factory stock and to a concours level over 40 years ago. It had been in the possession of our own Mr. Dale Matthews collection of cars since the mid 80’s. Around 2010, Dale commissioned his good friend and V8 Ford guru, Mel Nichols to go through this car along with his ’33 Roadster and turn them into a matched pair. They came out beautiful! This one was wanted by a good friend and life member of the V8 Ford Club more than Dale and it was sold. Changed hands once and we just got the opportunity to buy it back. The previous owner put the 17″ Kelsey Hayes Bent Spoke Wire Wheels on it with black wall Firestone tires. He also had the seat replaced with a Glide Engineering seat and upholstered in correct LeBarron Bonney Saddle leather material for a little extra leg room. The upgraded 59AB block is beautifully detailed with Acorn nuts, Fenton Headers, custom bent Stainless water necks and fuel lines that really give this a unique sanitary look yet still appears factory. Brakes were also updated to hydraulic and the steering box was replaced with a little newer box with an easy ratio. Rear axle is a Columbia 2 Speed with the vacuum shift lever mounted under the dash that works slick as a whistle. A clock faced Ford mirror to keep you on time and an original AM Radio to keep you company. If the summertime air gets a little to cool, fire up the Tropic-Aire heater to take the chill off. Front suspension has a dropped axle with tube shocks, Stock rear suspension. Clean and nice under neath with the chassis painted semi-gloss black and the stock floors painted to match the exterior. The sheet metal is fantastic, never a rusty or abused car the fit is fantastic with very straight body panels. Paint is beautifully finished with a wonderful shine. The Dearborn Blue has lots of depth and the factory red pinstripe with the matching red wire wheels this car’s got the look and profile! This is a very traditionally built car, finished in a late 50’s style. An absolute complement to any hot rodder or avid car collectors inventory.
